Account Executive

Reading Horizons of Kaysville, UT is looking to hire a full-time Account Executive. Salary for this Account Executive position will be determined by experience and best fit, with a percentage of commission from each sale. Additional incentives are available based on customer's growth in the assigned portfolio and achieving quarterly and yearly goals. We also offer medical, dental, a 401(k) program with a 4% match, profit-sharing, 11 official paid holidays plus additional earned days, generous paid time off (PTO), generous parental leave, a yearly earned President's Club paid trip, personal travel benefits, and a diversity program as well as free breakfasts, snacks, and drinks at the office. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

As an Account Executive, you are part of our sales and revenue team that presents our products for sale to potential, returning, and continuing customers. As an AE, you will proactively reach out to customers or potential customers. You will work with a business development rep who will be assisting in setting up appointments and product demonstrations. You will also work with our customer success team as they continue the implementation of our products after the sale has been completed. Account executives are responsible for a yearly and quarterly sales quota. It is expected that the AE spends much of their time on the phone and in email communication, including weekly virtual demos. Some overnight travel will be required. It is expected that you will plan, develop, and conduct on-sites events when safe and appropriate or assist with virtual events that drive sales results. 

With a somewhat flexible work schedule and temporary working from home arrangements due to the coronavirus pandemic, this is an excellent job for working professionals. All hardware and software you will need to complete your work will be provided for at home or in the office work, including a computer, monitor(s), keyboard, mouse, and phone.

Required Qualifications

  • Travel to assigned territories quarterly

  • Minimum of 5 years Sales Experience (preferably in Education or Saas)  
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and non-written)
  • Confident problem-solving skills
  • Experience maintaining a business/travel expense account

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time account executive position typically works during our business hours for their assigned territories with a flexible schedule. Currently, almost all work is done at home due to COVID with the expectation that more work will be done at the office after COVID. At home work post-COVID is negotiable.
